"This was hands down, without hesitation, our most favorite place we have stayed *ever*! There was so much charm and creativity in the decor, we felt so inspired to incorporate some of those ideas into our own home. The cottage is in the perfect location, so many gorgeous historic homes and lovely live oak lined streets. Mallorie & Jim provided bicycles and we had a blast cruising through town. We had the pleasure of meeting them. So kind and down to earth! We didn't venture far from the downtown area because we loved it so much. Lee's Coffee & Tea is the bomb, we ate there several times and it didn't disappoint. Pearl's Diner, Mimmo's and The Knight Butcher had awesome grub too! Of course, The Laurel Mercantile is a must see! We went 3 times :) Lott's Furniture Co was a delight, Rodney was such a sweetie and a pleasure to chat with. We are so thrilled we chose Laurel as our 10th wedding anniversary celebration destination. All thanks to Home Town! This place has definitely taken root in our hearts and we can't wait to return!"

We were welcomed the instant we arrived, and felt like family when we left. There were so many personal touches, and nothing was overlooked. We were celebrating a birthday, and were so grateful that it was made so memorable. Mallorie and Jim are exceptional hosts and we look forward to our return to Laurel, and staying with them again."

"Mallorie and Jim's cottage was the perfect getaway for us. It has a great cottage feel and is very comfortable. The interior is decorated nicely. Mallorie provides great amenities and provides information about Laurel and places to visit. It is close enough to town that you can walk to downtown. You will enjoy seeing all of the beautiful homes along the tree covered streets. We will definitely be back again."
